Safety rules for the SUMMER SLEDGE
All drivers must respect the following safety rules.
The Orange-Montisel amusement park cannot be held responsible if these rules are not respected.
The user is morally and financially responsible for any consequence arising from the non-respect of these rules.
If clothes are damaged, the Orange-Montisel amusement park cannot be held responsible.
CAUTION, risk of serious injuries if these rules are not respected.
The summer sledge is an activity where the driver controls his own speed and is responsible for his own and the accompanying person’s safety.
The rules have to be STRICTLY followed.
General rules:
Never touch the track or put your hands under the sledges.
It is forbidden for two adults to be on one sledge.
Children under the age of 7 and less than 1m40 are only allowed as front passengers, accompanied by another person responsible for their safety, measuring over 1m40.
For safety reasons, access and participation to the summer sledge is forbidden to children under the age of 2, pregnant women, people with heart or back problems.
The summer sledge requires that you should be in good health.
The maximum capacity of a sledge is 140kg.
It is forbidden to film and take pictures during the descent in the sledge.
The access to the summer sledge may be forbidden if the rules are not respected.
Rules for the ascent:
You must hold the two side handles, and not let go of them before the automatic release at the top of the slope.
In case of a stop, you must stay seated, the sledge cannot move back.
Before the automatic release, it is forbidden to touch the brake.
Do not move or turn around in the sledge, in which case the driver risks a derailment.
Rules for the descent:
After the automatic release, let go of the two handles and hold the brake with both hands.
If two people are sat on a sledge, the accompanying person (over 1m40) is in control and in charge of the brake and their safety.
Always keep a 20m distance away from the sledge in front and never bump into it.
Never touch the track to avoid a risk of injury.
Do not stop on the track before the finish line.
Respect the signs.
You must brake during the descent, and slow down at the end until the sledge comes to a stop.
